Autumn Stroll

I see peace in the walk before me
In this way, peace becomes me
I inhale the air and breath out exhausperation
Letting go of a maze of outdated days

Flooded with images, my pace quickens
Faster I dash, since stagnation sickens
Relating to those, who sift through the prose
Perhaps Ill bring peace to a few through this poem

I'm heading home now, was rather far out
Away from the comforts that stay in my house
The basket wove chair, the carpeted stairs
In all of my years I've collected some wares

Yet now I'm alone, and my feet, they roam freely
The brisk autumn glow intoxicates easily
I'm happy to wander, the path splits in two
Its easy to be here, away from the crew

I fall like a leaf of tomorrows boquet
I humble myself from a broad disarray
Each step marks a milestone, a river rock tossed
Each depth is an artifact, and nothing is lost

Just me on this trek on a cool autumn night
The world lies behind me in soft spoken light
I dissapear into the forests and trees
And here sparks an ember of lifes subtleties..
