Fitting in or standing out
Tired of the looks fixating on flesh
Big hips, lips, and pump shoes
I won't sugar coat it
As far as I've forseen
Venom pumps through the blood stream
Yet it's thanks and praise
We tend to discard the days
Like old pizza boxes
For a splendid new facade that can
Pop drop and lock it
Hustle till the hope becomes pennies in pocket
Life isn't a game, certainly no pixie stick
What are you willing to create?
On the lengthy road to strike it rich
I continue with three chords
The Music, Faith, and Fellowship
Letting devils intertwine their tails
About a distant government
I have no time for that, for the hour glass ain't patient
When lives objectified by the jury through the plaintiff
I've gotta make the seconds count, the minutes gold, and hours matter
Otherwise the check will bounce like criminals who spot a camera
Enough to make the perpetrators stand alert on tip toes
Then level on their soles, proceeding to kick doors
Finished all my chores, now it's time for recreation
Yet every time I leave the home, another confrontation
They really do apply the pressure, disregarding scenery
Trying to turn my human peace into piece of machinery
