One day Ill be free

One day Ill be free
I wont have to worry
About being on time
Late, or Matt Earley

Tears don't fall but the fabric gets torn
Like a broken down train
I get to feeling worn
I sworn an oath to live this life
Yet its so unforgiving
I told the truth and did things right
Is that what makes it worth living?

You sense Im sulky with regret
Adhered to plans and every step
Out of all the places slept
I always enjoyed a special depth

I journey onward, towards the core
Our journeys never over
The snows of life can ponder
Unique flakes fall forever
Id say Im doing better
But I cant sustain the weather
Im losing my identity along with my vendetas

My focus feels unfettered
It launches like a rocketship
Into the unknown passages
Id fly this way forever
Id ride this wave wherever
A pride of Serengeti
The tides of lakes
Seasonal mistakes
And deaths considered hefty
